Sixth annual edition of the East Africa Internet Governance Forum, held on August 13-14, 2013 in Bujumbura, Burundi, at the Royal Palace Hotel. Organized on a rotational basis among East African Community (EAC) member states, this edition's theme was: "Harnessing Multi-stakeholderism in Contributing towards Internet growth and Sustainable Development in East Africa". Sessions covered national IGF reports (Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda), infrastructure and broadband access, accessibility, diversity and online content, naming and addressing issues (IPv6 migration, new gTLDs, dotAfrica), and user protection online.
