IGF Burundi 2011

Second Internet Governance Forum in Burundi, held on August 16, 2011 in Bujumbura, under the high patronage of the Ministry in charge of ICTs. Discussions focused on the IGF process, the BBS fiber optic network project, ICT challenges and issues for Burundi, the use of ICTs in education (E-Learning), and the promotion of ICTs in the private sector. The event was marked by the presence of the then Burundian Minister of ICTs.
